AFTER CARE

Thoughtful care helps preserve the beauty of your piece for years to come. Below is a simple guide to caring for the metals we work with at Ninetwo.5.

925 Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is durable and designed for everyday wear. Over time, natural tarnishing may occur—this is normal and easily managed.

Polish gently with a soft cloth to restore shine. Soak in warm water with mild soap for 15 minutes, then scrub with a soft tooth brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing/ Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and chemicals.

9ct & 18ct Solid Yellow Gold

Solid gold is a timeless, resilient metal that wears beautifully over time. With simple care, it will retain its warmth and lustre.

To care for solid gold:
Soak in warm water with mild soap for 15 minutes, then scrub with a soft tooth brush. Rinse well and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives. Store separately to prevent scratching

General Jewellery Care

Regardless of metal, these practices will help extend the life of your jewellery:

Store pieces in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity. Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, sleeping, or exercising. Apply perfumes, lotions, and hair products before putting jewellery on. Avoid contact with household cleaners or chlorinated water

A Note on Wear

Jewellery is made to be worn and loved. Subtle changes, soft patina, and fine marks are a natural part of the journey and add character to handcrafted pieces.
