'Made to order' and 'engagement' collections take 6 weeks to be handcrafted. 'Ready to ship' and 'One of a kind' collections are shipped out the next business day. We ship from Australia worldwide via DHL express, within Australia via Australia Post express. Tracking details are sent via email. What are Lab Grown gemstones?
At Nine, we work with both Lab grown and Natural Gemstones.
Lab stones are Gemstones created/grown in a Laboratory. Instead of Natural Gemstones which are found and mined from the earth.
Moissanite, Lab Diamond or Natural Diamond?
Moissanite
Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone, ranking 9.5 on the Mohs scale—second only to diamond. It is highly durable, resistant to scratching, and well suited to everyday wear and lifelong pieces. Moissanite is not a diamond, but a considered alternative, offering exceptional brilliance at a more accessible price point.
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and physically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference is origin: they are created in a laboratory rather than formed in the earth. Lab-grown diamonds are not “fake” diamonds, but they do not carry the geological history of a natural stone. As they are not rare, they are typically more affordable than natural diamonds.
